Thousands of years ago, back in the beginning of time, God made everything in space and everything on earth. God is so powerful that all He has to do is tell something to happen with His words and it happens! Let’s use our words to say what we’re learning this week. Everyone say, “God made everything!”

After God made the light on day one, He was ready to get a place ready for the living things He wanted to make. The earth had no shape then. He made a space filled with air above the earth. He called the big space “sky.”

Then God said, “Let dry land appear.” God called the dry land “Earth.” He looked at what He had made—water, sky, and land. God said, “It is good!”

So God made land for living things to walk on. Everyone walk in place. God made water for living things to swim in and drink. Everyone pretend to swim and drink. God made the sky for living things to breathe and fly in. Everyone take a deep breath of sky.

God did all of that on day two! What did God create on day two? “Land, water, and sky!” God was ready to make even more amazing things, but we’ll have to wait until next week to see what He made on day three!
