KONNECT is LifeGroups designed just for Toon Town kids! With a small group of friends, we’ll explore the stories of the Bible in a way that really makes them stick—funny videos, hands-on projects, active games, and even your own snack creations! Each KONNECT group will rotate together through activities as well as sitting down together to talk about what God’s Word means in our own lives. These resources will allow families to keep the learning going all week long and give parents a peek into all the good times that go on at KONNECT!
Year Two of KONNECT continues right where we left off last year! The Israelites have just follow Moses through the Red Sea and now have to continue to the land God promised them! But all kinds of adventures happen on the way. We’ll follow them through their journey with Moses, Joshua’s epic battles, all the way to Canaan. But once they’re there, the book of Judges—with Deborah, Samson, and Gideon—provide even more stories of God working through imperfect people to do amazing things. We’ll end up the year with Samuel anointing a young man named David to be their king!
Welcome to konnect 5—LifeGroups just for 5th graders! But that’s not where it gets its name! In 1 Timothy 4:12, Paul encourages Timothy to grow in five areas: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. In konnect 5 we’ll use those five areas to build a foundation for fifth graders to make their faith their own and become the example to all believers that God expects them to be!
